Project in a nutshell: Development of forestry semi-trailer components made of composites – from feasibility study to prototyping and testing on the road.  The total weight of the trailer was reduced by half a ton (40% reduction on selected components), allowing to transport more wood or save on fuel.

Project in a nutshell: Failure analysis of a composite part on the bogie assembly for the New-York railroad car (M7).  The goal was to understand the source of the failures and make corrective action recommendations for the replacement of the faulty parts.
