Project in a nutshell: Design and stress analysis of tanks and storage vessels. The goal is to optimize the thickness of the vessels – and by optimize, we mean of course to determine the minimum wall thickness and reinforcement (beams, etc) required to – very safely! – fabricate the tanks according to the standards. By doing so, the tanks are lighter and require less material.
